It's October!

I LOVE October! The weather kinda sorta starts to change around here, festivals come to town, and I get to celebrate Halloween :)

This October, I'll be doing a super special broadcast and KSTAR Country will be giving away two trips to this really cool place! I can't wait to tell you all about it!!

Until then, I'm jumping head first into Halloween celebrations! I woke up this morning to make some delicious Mummy Dogs.

Your kids will love these- even the grown up ones. Brave Dave, Larry Galla and Brad Witt Gobbled them up.These are super easy to make!  Unfortunately since I was in a hurry, I didn't take step by step pictures. They're really so easy that you don't need them.

What you will need:
Bun Size Hot Dogs
Pillsbury Croissant Dough
American Cheese Slices (Optional)
Mustard
Cooking Spray

1. Heat Oven to 375

2. Roll Out your dough and separate it to make 4 rectangles. Press the perforations to seal.

3. Use a pizza cutter (or a sharp knife) to cut the rectangles lengthwise into 10 pieces- 40 total. They do not have to be perfect. If you decide to use cheese, go ahead and cut it too. Cut the slices into halves.

4. Now the fun part! Take the slices of dough and one by one wrap them around the hot dogs. Stretch the dough slightly to cover the dog. You will use 5 pieces of dough per hot dog. If you are using the cheese, place it under the hot dog and wrap around it. Make sure you leave some room for your mummy's face. Place the wrapped hot dog's cheese side down on an ungreased cookie sheet.

5. Spray dough lightly with cooking spray.

6. Bake for 15-17 minutes, or until dough is lightly brown.

7. Use a toothpick and mustard to draw a face on your Mummy

8. Enjoy! :)
